Raelynn is in ballet and hip hop classes at Victory School of the Arts and tried out for the Christmas dance and she was in three different dances. She has been practicing and rehearsing for the last few months and she did a wonderful job! Cool Yule, dance for the holidays...

I am a just a little behind on my blog. I have been busy training for a 1/2 marathon and trying to raise $3,600 going towards The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This is me and my friend Tracy. She lost her 10 year old son, Mitchell, to Leukemia over a year ago. This amazing boy and family battled through 2 yrs. of treatments, victories, & setbacks. His mom trained for & ran a full marathon in June with Team in Training to honor his memory. For her 40th birthday she has asked 40 of her friends to join her for a half or full marathon in January. Cousin Steve's wedding...

Kyler was asked to be the ring bearer in Holly and Steve's wedding and the first thought I had was, there would be no way that Kyler could be still for that long. So we asked Kyler if he wanted to be the ring bearer and he said yes. I really don't think he knew what it was all about. We were unable to make the rehearsal, so Steve and Clint had to show Kyler what to do right before the wedding started. The wedding starts and Kyler does pretty good for the first couple of minutes and then he starts to get antsy. So Scott and I are trying to whisper to him to be still and it just wasn't working. We were laughing quietly at him and trying not to let him know. He made it through the wedding and cousin Steve said that Kyler made him proud!!

OUR SWEET GRANDMA IDA TURNED 97 ......
on August 21 . One of the cousins asked granny what she wanted for her birthday and she said she wanted to ride in a covered wagon and dress up in prairie clothes. Raelynn & Grandma

I can't believe another school year has started. Raelynn will be in the 4th grade and Kyler will be in the 1st grade. They were so excited for their first day of school.

Here is Kyler with his teacher at his desk. I thought this is going to be very hard to say goodbye so I leaned over and gave him a hug and he even gave me a kiss. Then his teacher gave me a pack of tissue and this little note.
